Application Guide

Prepare the area to be treated, ensuring freedom from dust, grime, traffic film, greases, waxes, oils etc, using a detergent solution or an emulsifiable solvent based cleaner, followed by rinsing thoroughly and drying.

Rust, other surface contamination, and loosely adhering matter should be removed using a wire brush or an appropriate grade of wet and dry abrasive paper.

Following preparation the surfaces should be further treated with a solvent wipe using HYCOTE BRAKE CLEANER, [XUK302], white spirit, or thinners and allowed to dry.

Shake the can thoroughly for at least two minutes. Repeat shaking at regular intervals during use.

Do not use any primers.

Apply sparingly from a distance of 20 – 25cm.

Apply a minimum of two coats or as necessary to achieve total and even coverage, leaving between 20 to 30 minutes between each application.

These products may be further overcoated with the same paints after a drying time of 24 hours.

On completion of use, invert can and depress actuator for a few seconds to prevent nozzle blockage.
